Oh, snap, kids. I got recced on epic_recs. The review was wonderful and seriously made me feel all warm inside. I don't know if this person drops by my LJ, but slyprentice, THANK YOU. You have no idea how good this made me feel and I really, really appreciate it. It's the nicest thing I've read about my writing in a long time and ... wow. Thank you so much.

Review is here.

Wait, you didn't know? There weren't hordes of people dropping by, getting sucked in, and blaming it on that review? Granted, I am a lazy commenter myself, but this story deserves comments! *leaves one*

No! I've been comments recently, but only one of them (left 2 days ago) mentioned epic_recs! I think I'm gonna cry. In like a good way.

*offers tissue* It's a story well worth reccing. I went and recced it right on to my best friend, though she won't be leaving comments as she is neither on LJ nor on ffnet. (And that comment from two days ago was from me. On ffnet, right? I copy&pasted from there, so I left a comment there, too.)

Hopefully I'm heading into another upswing. Once I get the ball rolling I have a really hard time making it stop (see the dates for the second half of Red and the beginning of Sax Rohmer. Some of them are ridiculously close to each other. XD), and I really, really missed writing Matt and Peter. The recent burst of comments are what prompted me to get off my lazy butt and write again, so I'm super grateful. And I get all fluttery if I get one "Yay, awesome!" comment, so yeah, I freak when I get something really nice that's over a sentence. XD

Would it help with the upswing if I went and left more? *is a big fan of bribery*

...Does it make me sound self-centered if I say yes? I dig bribery.

I still have one or two hours until I have to go to bed. I shall spend that time rereading. What a hardship! ;D

You're a brave soul.

Unfortunately, my laptop battery is running out so I'll have to sign off, like ... nowish. My girlfriend's supposed to come pick me up soon (she ditched me in Border's! oh, the horror) so we can go see A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. My culture, can you see it? XD Plays and comics. I'm awesome.

I shall spam you a bit, then. :D

It's a subculture. And the play has a historical setting and is ergo educational. Have fun!
