What was that I said last year about writing more?

Hah. Haaahaha. I wish. I think now, about a year and a half later, it's time to admit that unless there's a miracle, my Marvel fic writing is laid to rest. You know, until inspiration strikes. Or ... something.

Sorry, Marvel. I've been having an affair with a younger woman, and her name is Mass Effect.

not to put any unnecessary pressure, but leaving a story unfinished is worse then posting a new chapter in which the only sentence reads, "they all died and went to heaven"...just saying

Incredibly late, but just to say a) how sad I am to hear this, and b) thank you for such an insanely amazing fic as Red, and at least I know that there probably was going to be a happyish ending for them eventually. At least Peter's alive!

*heart* *breaks* Can you at least like...not-fic tell us how Sax Romher was supposed to end? You sort of left Peter hanging and alone and my heart is still waiting to be mended for Peter and Matt after two years. Can you share the plan for that at least?

I'm super late, but I'm also sad to hear you won't be completing the Red fic. I hadn't read the second part in the hopes that it would be completed one day. :(

Anyway, good luck with whatever it is you're doing now.

Hey, you probably don't remember me, I commented a while back on Red & Sax Rohmer, and with the current influx in movies and the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man I figured I could drop by and see if there were any news on SR. I'm of course sad to see that you won't continue it, but I've fallen out of fandoms too so I understand. And I can always reread what there is - finished or not, it's still one of the most interesting Marvel fics I've ever read, with incredible, strong, flawed, struggling, real characters. Thank you for writing it.

I haven't fallen out of fandoms, exactly. I'm still writing Marvel (I'm in RPs over on InsaneJournal), and I'm actually a few thousands words deep into a novel that's an homage/deconstruction of the superhero genre in general.

I am STUNNED that people still read and comment to this journal! It's very, very cool and I know I'm not satisfying in that I still haven't continued anything, but it's the best boost for a bad day and I love that people are still thinking about me/enjoying my work.

Novel? You have gone 'legit' then!

Where else would they comment? This is where the old rec posts lead to... and the new ones; I see you've seen my post on tumblr.

I'm trying! Mostly it's a lot of banging my head on something, and that's on a good day.

I just mean that it's been so long that I'm surprised when it keeps popping up. This thing is three years old, it blows my mind. I definitely did not expect to see it on tumblr.

I just posted on your Red sequel series and then read this post. It's a great story!! And I can understand the need for inspiration to strike to continue. I hope it does! But at least you left it at a fairly good point. I appreciate that. :) Until, when and if, you update, at least I can imagine more Peter/Matt goodness!

You really do have a lot of talent. It works so well. Not mushy, not too intense, just the right amount of perfect. :)
